“Tarp Liepų” Country House Rules

Guests (customers) having rented the country house or individual premises there may use the following:
- a rented bedroom with a bathroom attributed to it and things inside the room;
- a kitchen attributed to the rented room, kitchen appliances and utensils;
- a sitting room, a library, an external fire place (for an extra payment for firewood);
- TV and audio equipment;
- a sauna (for an extra payment);
- a wireless internet (for an extra payment);
- a fireplace room to hold a conference or a festive event.

Guests may use the following in the territory of the country house:
- a fireplace or a barbecue (with a free bunch of firewood);
- a sports ground and sports equipment;
- playground for children;
- guests may swim in a pond only in dedicated places and only if ensured about their safety;
- fish and boat (if agreed by hosts or their authorized person).

The country house guests must:
- pay the full rental fee upon arrival to the country house, and the country house hosts or their authorized person shall issue strict liability accounting documents ion receipt of the payment;
- if the guest stay is shorter than planned (12 up to 11 a.m. of the following day), the hosts must not pay back a partial payment to compensate for the shorter stay;
- make familiar with safety, fire prevention and house rules;
- register in the guest registration book;
- immediately pay for extra services ordered in the country house, if any;
- when booking rooms or the entire country house, pay a 30% deposit in advance, which will be included into the fee paid upon arrival. The deposit shall not be paid back, if the booked reservation is missed;
- leave the rented facilities clean and in good order when checking out of the country house, and participate when handing over the rented facilities and equipment to the country house hosts or their authorized person. Immediately pay for damaged equipment and other facilities, when handing over the remises;
- save water and electricity;
- behave not to trouble other guests of the country house and allow them to relax peacefully and use common premises and the country house territory;
- keep personal belongings only in the rented room or your car (the hosts shall not be responsible for security of personal belongings).

The following is prohibited in the country house:
- smoke inside the buildings, throw around cigarette butts outdoors, throw around packages and food leftovers, litter the country house territory;
- without a consent of the hosts or their authorized person, light the fire in the country house fireplaces, stoves or use other open fire appliances, use any firearms, fireworks, firecrackers, etc;
- without a consent of the hosts or their authorized person, bring and keep dogs, cats or other animals in the country house;
- without a consent of the hosts or their authorized person, relocate equipment and other things of the country house;
- swim in drunken condition;
- allow children to play next to the pond or on the playground in the country house territory, if unsupervised by parents or other adults;
- allow unsupervised children and minors to swim in the pond;
- boat or fish in the country house pond, without a consent of the country house hosts or their authorized person.

Guest responsibilities:
- the guests shall be entirely and fully liable for damaged or destroyed movable and immovable property in the country house and its territory (the customer shall be liable for the damages caused under the procedure prescribed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania);
- if losses to the country house were caused by the acts of minors, their parents of foster parents must compensate them;
- the country house hosts shall not be liable, if the customer of the customer’s children are injured due to their or their guests' acts, or if damage is caused to their property due to their carelessness, in breach the safety and sports terms;
- the country house hosts or their authorized person shall be responsible for quality of services provided under the Law on Tourism of the Republic of Lithuania.

Fire Prevention and Safety Rules

The guests must:
- properly use electric appliances, not allow children to use them; or leave electric appliances, radio or TV equipment switched on, unattended;
- smoke only in dedicated places, put out cigarette butts and throw them only into dedicated ash trays;
- use fireplaces only with a consent of the country house hosts or their authorized person and after listening to a debriefing;
- stack up firewood only in dedicated places, in a safe distance further away from the open fire;
- when the fireplace is lit, do no not leave children unattended or let them stoke the fire or play with burning sticks, wood or sparks;
- do not cause any fire in the forest (do not throw around cigarette butts or use open fire);
- lighting the fire in the country house territory is allowed only in the specially dedicated places and the outdoor fireplace. Fire may not be leaved unattended; the fire must be extinguished before you leave the fireplace;
- children may swim, boat, fish only together with parents or foster parents;
- do not climb or sit on fencing in attics and balconies of the buildings, or arbours in the country house territory;
- behave not to put your own or other guests’ health and life at risk;
- use sports installations and other equipment only to their proper purpose;
- each guest shall be individually responsible for the quality and freshness of food brought with him/her;
- the service provider shall not be responsible, if the guest of his/her children injure themselves or damage their property due to their own fault, in breach of safety, fire prevention and house rules;
- the main client of the guest group (who has booked the premises) shall be responsible for noise caused by music after midnight;
- the person booking the country house or individual premises (the responsible person of the guest group – the main client) shall be responsible for making the country house guests familiar with these rules;
- the holiday makers themselves shall be responsible for other potential accidents which may happen inside the country house buildings, on the staircases, on forest walking paths, in the yard, on children playgrounds, on sports grounds, in saunas, when swimming in the pond or the river, during canoeing trips, in stop over grounds on the bank of the river Šventoji and other places;
- the very guest will be responsible for accidents caused by alcohol consumption, and their consequences;
- parents or foster parents (supervising persons) of minors must ensure child safety: children shall not be allowed to walk and run next to the territory guarded by the dog of the country house hosts, feed or tease the country house dog;
- when registering in the guest registration book of the country house, the main client of the premises or the country house undertakes to acknowledge his/her companion guests with the fire prevention and safety rules and shall be fully responsible that holidaymakers visiting the country house observe these rules. The main client shall also be fully responsible to the country house hosts or their authorized person and ensure the established order and respect to the private property in the country house territory.
